Who Is Nanny Lee?
Carrie-Lee's path to becoming a caregiving professional began in a house full of chaos and kids, where she grew up as one of nine siblings. With a mom who ran a home daycare for over 30 years and a sister who's a nanny, caregiving is not just what Carrie-Lee does, it's woven into her DNA. Supporting families has always felt like second nature, a feeling that only deepened after raising her own three unique and wonderful children. Her oldest lives in Maine living the off grid dream. Her middle kid is a junior at Keene State pursuing theatre tech. And her youngest is a freshman vocalist at Berklee College of Music, Spain!
Carrie-Lee's expertise shines through her numerous certifications and trainings. She is a trained Newborn Care Specialist, Certified Postpartum Doula, Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, and a CAPPA Certified Infant & Family Educator. She also instructs the CIFE course for the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association. Committed to continuously expanding her knowledge, Carrie-Lee is currently enrolled in a Lactation Educator course and hopes to have her CLE by summers end.
When she's not up late rocking newborns or washing pump parts, Carrie-Lee can be found pursuing her diverse passions. She enjoys camping, roller skating, gardening, learning Spanish, and practicing archery. Known for her laid-back demeanor and calm energy, Carrie-Lee brings a realistic and grounded approach to her work with families.
With a deep understanding of the challenges new parents face, Carrie-Lee is passionate about empowering families during the transformative postpartum period. Her goal is to provide the support, guidance, and tools new parents need to feel confident in their roles and enjoy the precious early days with their little ones. Whether it's helping establish healthy sleep habits, providing breastfeeding support, or offering a listening ear and reassuring presence, Carrie-Lee is committed to making the journey of parenthood a little easier and a lot more joyful.
